The successive improvements to Méribel golf course have developed it into a leisure facility that is increasingly in demand, making the most of our unique natural heritage. But man's intervention in the way this space is organised must not overshadow the crucial role that nature has to play. Nature sets its own boundaries, dictates its own ules, imposes its own pace. Faced with nature, it is up to us to demonstrate humility and patience. The Méribel course is a demanding one. It abides by the conditions that prevail in the mountains. We need to be conscious of that if we are to appreciate its true value.
